✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he gave me. Then I asked him, and he gave me three times. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O Hakim, this wealth is sweet and green. Whoever takes it with a generous soul, it will be blessed for him in it; and whoever takes it with greed of the soul, it will not be blessed for him in it, and he will be like one who eats but does not become full. The upper hand is better than the lower hand.” Hakim said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, by the One who sent you with the truth, I will not ask anyone for anything after you until I leave this world.
