✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, which charity is greatest?" He said, "That you give charity while you are healthy and miserly, fearing poverty and hoping for wealth. Do not delay until it reaches the throat and you say, 'For so-and-so is such-and-such and for so-and-so is such-and-such,' while it has already become for so-and-so."
