✧ "There were three among the Children of Israel: a leper, a bald man, and a blind man. Allah wanted to test them, so He sent an angel to them. He came to the leper and said: 'What thing is most beloved to you?' He said: 'A good color and good skin.' He said: 'So what wealth is most beloved to you?' He said: 'Camels.' So he wiped him and it went away. He said: 'And he was given a ten-month pregnant she-camel.' And he said: 'May Allah bless you in it.' He said: 'Then he came to the bald man and said: "What thing is most beloved to you?" He said: "Good hair and that this which people abhor me for go away from me." He said: "So he wiped him and it went away, and he was given good hair." He said: "So what wealth is most beloved to you?" He said: "Cows." He said: "So he was given a milch cow." he said: "May Allah bless you in it." He said: "Then he came to the blind man and said: 'What thing is most beloved to you?' He said: 'That Allah restore my sight so I can see people.' So he wiped him and Allah restored his sight. He said: 'So what wealth is most beloved to you?' He said: 'Sheep.' He said: 'So he was given a ewe." And these two produced offspring and this one gave birth, so this one had a valley of camels, this one a valley of cows, and this one a valley of sheep. He said: 'Then he came to the leper in his form and appearance and said: "A poor man and a son of the road; my means have been cut off in my journey, so there is no way for me today except by Allah then by you. I ask you by the One who gave you the good color, the good skin, and the wealth, for a camel to help me along in my journey." He said: "The rights are many." He said: "It is as if I know you: were you not a leper whom people abhorred, poor, and Allah gave you wealth?" He said: "I inherited this wealth from a long line of ancestors." He said: "If you are lying, may Allah return you to what you were." He said: 'Then he came to the bald man in his form and said to him the like of what he said to this one, and he replied with the like of what this one replied. He said: "If you are lying, may Allah return you to what you were." Then he came to the blind man in his form and appearance and said: "A poor man and a son of the road; my means have been cut off in my journey." He said: "I was blind and Allah restored my sight, so take what you wish and leave what you wish. By Allah, I will not burden you today with anything you take for Allah." He said: "Keep your wealth, for you all have only been tested. Verily, He is pleased with you and angry with your two companions."'
