Night Prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعِيدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَمِلَ عَمَلًا أَثْبَتَهُ وَكَانَ إِذَا نَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ مَرِضَ صَلَّى مِنَ النَّهَارِ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he did a deed, he would make it a habit. And when he slept through the night or was ill, he would pray twelve rak'ahs during the day.
