✧ We came with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the time of al-Hudaybiyah until we camped at al-Suqya. Mu'adh b. Jabal said: "Who will give us water?" He said: "Jabir." So I went out with a group of young men from the Ansar until we came to the water at al-Uthayah, which was nearly twenty-three miles from there, and we drank and drew water. Then, after the night prayer, a man came on a camel that was pulling him toward the water trough. He said to him: "Lead it to water." So he led it, and I took hold of the halter of his mount and made it kneel. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and prayed the night prayer, with Jabir beside him, and he prayed thirteen prostrations.
