أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ بُرْدٍ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ عَنْ غُضَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَرَأَيْتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَجْهَرُ بِصَلَاتِهِ أَوْ يُخَافِتُ بِهَا؟ قَالَتْ «رُبَّمَا جَهَرَ بِصَلَاتِهِ وَرُبَّمَا خَافَتَ بِهَا» قُلْتُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الْأَمْرِ سَعَةً

✧ I said to Aisha, "Have you seen the Prophet ﷺ reciting aloud in his prayer or in a low voice?" She said, "Sometimes he recited aloud in his prayer, and sometimes in a low voice." I said, "Praise be to Allah who has made the matter spacious."
