✧ We fasted with the Prophet ﷺ in Ramadan, and he did not lead us in prayer on the sixth night, but he led us on the fifth until he went to wait for the night. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would lead us in supererogatory prayer for the rest of this night of ours." He said, "Whoever stands with the imam until he departs, the standing of a whole night is recorded for him." Then he did not pray with us until three days of the month remained. He led us on the third night and gathered his family and his women, and he led us until we feared that we would miss the time of the pre-dawn meal.
