✧ I asked 'A'ishah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, «He used to pray four [rak'ahs] before Zuhr, two after Maghrib, two after Isha, and nine at night.» I said, "Standing or sitting?" She said, «He used to pray long at night sitting, and long at night standing.» I said, "What would he do when standing, and what would he do when sitting?" She said, «When he recited standing, he bowed standing, and when he recited sitting, he bowed sitting.»
