أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ أَنَامُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَرِجْلَايَ فِي قِبْلَتِهِ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ غَمَزَنِي فَقَبَضْتُ رِجْلَيَّ وَإِذَا قَامَ بَسَطْتُهُمَا قَالَتْ وَالْبُيُوتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا مَصَابِيحُ

✧ I used to sleep in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my legs in the direction of his qiblah. When he prostrated he would poke me, so I would draw up my legs, and when he stood I would stretch them out. She said: And the houses at that time had no lamps.
