أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ حَنْظَلَةَ الصَّيْفِيُّ بِسَرَخْسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُشْكَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْمِلُ أُمَامَةَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَضَعَهَا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَضَعَهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to carry Umamah while praying; when he wanted to bow, he would put her down, then he would prostrate; when he stood up, he would carry her; and when he wanted to bow, he would put her down.
