✧ The obligation of Imam's observance

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ»

    وهذا لا أعلمه يرويه عن حبيب المعلم غير يزيد بن زريع ولحبيب أحاديث صالحة وأرجو أنه مستقيم في رواياته

    machine translationI do not know of anyone who narrates this from Ḥabīb al-Muʿallim other than Yazīd b. Zurayʿ. Ḥabīb has sound (ṣāliḥ) hadiths, and I hope that he is upright (mustaqīm) in his narrations.
