أَخْبَرَنَا وَصِيفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَافِظُ بِأَنْطَاكِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ يَرَوْنَ أَهْلَ الْغُرَفِ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ الْغَابِرَ فِي الْأُفُقِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لِتَفَاضُلِ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تِلْكَ مَنَازِلُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ لَا يَبْلُغُهَا غَيْرُهُمْ؟ قَالَ «بَلَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ رِجَالٌ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَصَدَّقُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ»

✧ «The people of Paradise will see the people of the upper chambers as you see the shining star that remains on the horizon from the east and the west, because of the difference in virtue between them.» They said, "O Messenger of Allah, those are the stations of the Prophets that no one else can reach?" He said, "Yes, by the One in whose hand is my soul, men who believed in Allah and affirmed the Messengers."

هذا خطأ قد روي عن أبي حازم عن سهل حديث من غير حديث مالك ليس هكذا لفظه وأما من حديث مالك فإنما يرويه عن صفوان بن سليم عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي سعيد الخدري عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقلت له فقد حدثنا يونس بن عبد الأعلى عن ابن وهب عن مالك عن صفوان بن سليم عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي سعيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم هذا المتن فقال هذا هو الصحيح
machine translationThis is a mistake. A hadith has been narrated from Abū Ḥāzim from Sahl, other than the hadith of Mālik, and its wording is not like this. As for the hadith of Mālik, he only narrates it from Ṣafwān b. Sulaym, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet ﷺ. So I said to him: Yūnus b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā narrated to us from Ibn Wahb, from Mālik, from Ṣafwān b. Sulaym, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Saʿīd, from the Prophet ﷺ, this text. He said: This is the correct one.
