✧ They take turns among you: when the Fajr prayer is due, the angels of the day descend and attend the prayer with you all, while the angels of the night ascend. The angels of the day remain with you, and their Lord asks them—though He is most knowing—‘What did you leave My servants doing?’ They say, ‘We came to them while they were praying, and we left them while they were praying.’ He [the narrator] said, ‘I think they say, “So forgive them on the Day of Judgment.”’
