أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا يَقْعُدُ بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ إِلَّا قَدْرَ مَا يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not remain seated after the taslim except for as long as it takes to say: “O Allah, You are Peace, and from You is peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.”
