أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ»

Translation

  5. Abū al-Aḥwaṣ
  6. ʿAbdullāh
  7. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ He used to turn to his right and to his left until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah; peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.”
