أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ حِينَ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ «رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ» فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا» دَعَا عَلَى أُنَاسٍ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ}

✧ That he heard the Prophet ﷺ say in the Fajr prayer when he raised his head from bowing: “Our Lord, and to You is all praise,” in the last rakʿah, then he said: “O Allah, curse so-and-so and so-and-so,” supplicating against people among the hypocrites. Then Allah revealed: {Not for you is the decision whether He turns to them or punishes them, for they are wrongdoers}.
