أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُرِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ قَالَ
أَخَذَ عَلْقَمَةُ بِيَدِي وَأَخَذَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ بِيَدِ عَلْقَمَةَ وَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِيَدِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَعَلَّمَهُ التَّشَهُّدَ «التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ «فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ مِنْ هَذَا فَقَدْ فَرَغْتَ مِنْ صَلَاتِكَ فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَاثْبُتْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَانْصَرِفْ»

✧ 'Alqamah took my hand, and Ibn Mas'ud took 'Alqamah's hand, and the Prophet ﷺ took Ibn Mas'ud's hand and taught him the tashahhud: 'All compliments, prayers, and good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.' 'Abd Allah b. Mas'ud said, 'When you have completed this, you have completed your prayer. If you wish, remain seated, and if you wish, depart.'
