✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ بِالْأُبُلَّةِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ شُعْبَةً أَعْلَاهَا شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ»

✧ Faith has seventy-odd branches; the highest of them is the testimony that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest of them is removing harm from the road.
