✧ A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, I met a woman in the garden, and I embraced her, kissed her, engaged in foreplay with her, and did everything with her except for intercourse." The Messenger of Allah remained silent, so Allah revealed, "Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember." The Messenger of Allah called him and recited it to him, then Umar asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is this verse specific to him?" The Messenger of Allah said, "No, it is for all people."
