✧ When the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah, he prayed toward Bayt al-Maqdis for sixteen or seventeen months, and he loved to be directed toward the Ka'bah. So Allah, Mighty and Exalted, revealed: 'We have seen the turning of your face toward the heaven, so We will surely turn you to a qiblah you will be pleased with. So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque.' A man passed by a group of the Ansar while they were bowing and said, 'He bears witness that he has prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and that he has faced toward the Ka'bah.'
