أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ أَخْبَرَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ سَلُوا لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ فَإِنَّهَا مَنْزِلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا تَنْبَغِي إِلَّا لِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ فَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ حَلَّتْ لَهُ الشَّفَاعَةُ»

✧ When you hear the muezzin, say what he says, then invoke blessings upon me, for whoever invokes blessings upon me once, Allah will bless him ten times. Then ask Allah to grant me al-wasilah, for it is a station in Paradise that is not befitting except for one of Allah’s servants, and I hope that I am he. Whoever asks Allah for al-wasilah for me, intercession becomes permitted for him.
