✧ “When the call to prayer is given, Satan retreats, passing wind, so that he does not hear the adhan. When the adhan is completed, he returns. When the iqamah is called, he retreats until it is completed, then he returns, whispering between a person and his soul, saying, ‘Remember such and such, remember such and such,’ about things he had not remembered before, until a man does not know how many rakʿahs he has prayed.”
