أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرِو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
«يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكَ مِنْ رَاعِي غَنْمٍ فِي رَأْسِ الشَّظِيَّةِ لِلْجَبَلِ يُؤَذِّنُ لِلصَّلَاةِ وَيُصَلِّي فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي هَذَا يُؤَذِّنُ وَيُقِيمُ لِلصَّلَاةِ يَخَافُ مِنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِعَبْدِي وَأَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ»

✧ “Your Lord marvels at a shepherd of sheep on the top of a mountain crag who calls the adhan for prayer and prays. Allah says, ‘Look at this servant of Mine; he calls the adhan and establishes the prayer, fearing Me. I have forgiven My servant and admitted him to Paradise.’”
