✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating leek, but they did not desist, and then they found no alternative but to eat it. He noticed its smell and said: "Did I not forbid you from this foul — or stinking — plant? Whoever eats it should not come near us in our mosques, for the angels are harmed by what harms humans."
