✧ The Mosques

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلَاعِيُّ بِحِمْصَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِنَّمَا الرِّحْلَةُ إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِكُمْ هَذَا وَإِيلِيَاءَ»

Translation

  3. Muḥammad b. Ḥarb
  4. al-Zubaydī
  5. al-Zuhrī
  6. Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib And ʾAbī Salamah
  7. Abū Hurayrah
  8. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ No journey should be undertaken except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque, this mosque of yours, and Aelia (Jerusalem).
