Prohibited Times for Prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَعَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ»

✧ Whoever catches one rak'ah of the morning prayer before the sun rises has caught the prayer, and whoever catches one rak'ah of the afternoon prayer before the sun sets has caught the prayer.
