✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about the time of prayer. He said, 'Pray with us these two times.' When the sun declined, he prayed Zuhr. He said: And he prayed Asr while the sun was high, white, and alive. And he prayed Maghrib when the sun had set. And he prayed Isha when the twilight had disappeared. And he prayed Fajr in the darkness before dawn. He said: The next day, he ordered Bilal, and he gave the call for Zuhr, and he delayed it until it was cooler. He ordered him, and he performed the Iqamah for Asr while the sun was alive, delaying it beyond what it had been the first time. He ordered him, and he performed the Iqamah for Maghrib before the twilight disappeared. He ordered him, and he performed the Iqamah for Isha after a third of the night had passed. He ordered him, and he performed the Iqamah for Fajr, and he made it bright. Then he said, 'Where is the one who asked about the time of prayer?' He said, 'I am he, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'The time of your prayer is between what you have seen.'
