أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْفَأْرَةِ تَمُوتُ فِي السَّمْنِ فَقَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ جَامِدًا فَأَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ ذَائِبًا فَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a mouse that dies in clarified butter. He said, "If it is solid, throw away the mouse and what is around it, and eat the rest. If it is liquid, do not go near it."
