✧ I prayed Zhuhr with Ali, ؓ. Then he went to a gathering he used to hold in al-Rahbah and sat down, and we sat around him until Asr approached. A vessel containing water was brought to him. He took a handful, rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, wiped his face and forearms, wiped his head and his feet, then stood and drank the leftover water. Then he said, “I have been told that some men dislike one drinking while standing. Indeed, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do as I have done, and this is the wudu of one who has not broken his wudu.”
