✧ Wiping over the socks and others.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ فَقَالَ «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»

✧ A bedouin asked the Prophet ﷺ about wiping, and he said, «For the traveler, three days and their nights; and for the resident, a day and a night.»
