✧ I came to Safwan b. 'Assal al-Muradi and he said, "What brings you?" I said, "I have come to seek knowledge." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'No one goes out from his house seeking knowledge except that the angels lower their wings in approval of what he does.'" He said, "I came to ask you about wiping over the two khuffs." He said, "Yes. We were in the army that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent, and he commanded us to wipe over the two khuffs if we had put them on in a state of purity: for three days when traveling, and not to remove them for defecation or urination."
