أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ وَرَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا أَخْرَجَ وَضُوءَهُ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ يَبْتَدِرُونَ وَضُوءَهُ يَتَمَسَّحُونَ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ بِلَالٌ عَنْزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ سِيَرَاءَ فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا وَالنَّاسُ وَالدَّوَابُّ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ»

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a red dome, and I saw Bilal bring out his ablution water, and I saw the people rushing to his ablution water, wiping themselves with it. He said: Then Bilal brought out a spear and planted it, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out in a red striped garment and prayed facing it while people and animals were passing in front of him.

حسن صحيح قال مغلطاي وليس هذا منه تصحيحا لحديث حجاج إنما أراد تصحيح حديث أبي جحيفة في نفس الأمر وكذلك هو صحيح الأصل
machine translationGood and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ). Mughulṭāy said: This is not a declaration of soundness for the ḥadīth of Ḥajjāj; rather he meant to declare sound the ḥadīth of Abū Juḥayfah in itself, and likewise it is sound in its origin.
