machine translationNo one narrated this from Hushaym except ʿUbaydullāh alone, from Nāfiʿ; and as a hadith of Hushaym from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd it is extremely objectionable (munkar). The Shaykh said: This is narrated from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd from Nāfiʿ by Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh, but as a hadith of Hushaym it is objectionable (munkar).

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationHudhayl b. Bilāl narrates it from Nāfiʿ from Abū Hurayrah, and he erred in it. The sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version is from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar, as Ayyūb, Mālik, ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar and other memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrated it.
