✧ The Ghusl

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ

كَانَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ بَدَأَ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ كَمَا يَتَوَضَّأُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ فَيُخَلِّلُ بِهَا أُصُولَ شَعْرِهِ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ غَرَفَاتٍ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ الْمَاءَ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ»

Translation

✧ When he bathed from janabah, he would begin by washing his hands, then perform wudu' as he would for prayer, then insert his fingers into the water and comb through the roots of his hair with them, then pour three handfuls of water over his head with his hand, then pour water over the rest of his body.
