أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَزَّازُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ قَالَتْ

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَتَغْتَسِلُ الْمَرْأَةُ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ جَمِيعًا؟ قَالَتْ «نَعَمْ الْمَاءُ طَهُورٌ لَا يَجْنُبُ وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ أَبْدَأُهُ فَأُفْرِغُ عَلَى يَدِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَغْمِسَهُمَا فِي الْمَاءِ

✧ I asked A'ishah: Can a woman bathe with her husband from janabah from the same vessel together? She said: "Yes, water is purifying and does not become junub. I used to bathe, I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, from the same vessel; I would start and pour over his hand before he dipped them into the water."
