✧ Nullifiers of Wudu

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَارِظٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَكَلَ أَثْوَارَ أَقِطٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ لِمَ تَوَضَّأْتُ؟ إِنِّي أَكَلْتُ أَثْوَارَ أَقِطٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَوَضَّأْ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»

✧ Abu Hurayrah ate pieces of dried curd, then performed wudu', and then said, "Do you know why I performed wudu'? I ate pieces of dried curd. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Perform wudu' from what fire has touched.'"
