أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبِرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ قَالَ «أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ وَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ الْأَصَابِعِ وَبَالِغْ فِي الِاسْتِنْشَاقِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا»

✧ I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me about ablution.' He said, 'Perform ablution thoroughly, comb between the fingers, and sniff water deeply into the nose, unless you are fasting.'
