Sahih Ibn Hibban 1052b
✧ The Virtue of Wudu
Translation
✧ And I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'A man from my community gets up at night, striving against himself to purify himself, while there are knots upon you. When he washes his hands, a knot is undone; when he washes his face, a knot is undone; when he wipes his head, a knot is undone; when he washes his feet, a knot is undone. Then Allah, Mighty and Exalted, says to those behind the veil: "Look at this servant of Mine, striving against himself. Whatever My servant asks Me, it is his; whatever My servant asks Me, it is his."'"
