حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَاهُ جَبْرَئِيلُ وَهُوَ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ، فَأَخَذَهُ فَصَرَعَهُ فَشَقَّ عَنْ قَلْبِهِ، فَاسْتَخْرَجَ الْقَلْبَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَ عَلَقَةً مِنْهُ فَقَالَ: هَذَا حَظُّ الشَّيْطَانِ مِنْكَ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَهُ فِي طَسْتٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ، ثُمَّ لَأَمَهُ، ثُمَّ أَعَادَهُ فِي مَكَانِهِ، قَالَ: وَجَاءَ الْغِلْمَانُ يَسْعَوْنَ إِلَى أُمِّهِ - يَعْنِي ظِئْرَهُ -، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا قَدْ قُتِلَ، قَالَ: فَاسْتَقْبَلُوهُ وَهُوَ مُنْتَقِعُ اللَّوْنِ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَرَى أَثَرَ الْمِخْيَطِ فِي صَدْرِهِ

Then he took a clot out of it and said: "This was the share of Satan from you." Then he washed it in a golden basin with Zamzam water, then sewed it up and returned it to its place. He said: The boys came running to his mother, meaning his wet nurse, and said: "Muḥammad has been killed." He said: They went to meet him and his color was drained. Anas said: "I used to see the mark of the stitching on his chest."
