حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
إِنَّ لِجَهَنَّمَ جِبَابًا فِيهَا حَيَّاتٌ أَمْثَالُ أَعْنَاقِ الْبُخْتِ، وَعَقَارِبُ كَالْبِغَالِ الدُّلْمِ، قَالَ: فَيَهْرُبُ أَهْلُ جَهَنَّمَ إِلَى تِلْكَ الْجِبَابِ، قَالَ: فَتَأْخُذُ تِلْكَ الْحَيَّاتُ وَالْعَقَارِبُ بِشِفَاهِهِمْ، فَتَنْشُطُ [١]مَا بَيْنَ الشَّفْرِ [٢]إِلَى الظُّفْرِ، قَالَ: فَمَا يُنَجِّيهِمْ إِلَّا هَرَبٌ إِلَى النَّارِ
