حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ سُرَاقَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ كَتَبَ لِأَهْلِ دَيْرِ طَيَايَا:
إِنِّي أَمَّنْتُكُمْ عَلَى دِمَائِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَكَنَائِسِكُمْ أَنْ تُهْدَمَ
