حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا وَرَجُلَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَمِّي فَقَالَ أَحَدُ الرَّجُلَيْنِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَمِّرْنَا عَلَى بَعْضِ مَا وَلَّاكَ اللهُ، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: إِنَّا وَاللهِ لَا نُوَلِّي هَذَا الْعَمَلَ أَحَدًا سَأَلَهُ وَلَا أَحَدًا حَرَصَ عَلَيْهِ
