حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
قُلْتُ لِفَاطِمَةَ ابْنَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: رَأَيْتُكِ حِينَ أَكْبَبْتِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ فَبَكَيْتِ، ثُمَّ أَكْبَبْتِ عَلَيْهِ ثَانِيَةً فَضَحِكْتِ، قَالَتْ: أَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَيِّتٌ فَبَكَيْتُ، ثُمَّ أَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ الثَّانِيَةَ، فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي أَوَّلُ أَهْلِهِ لُحُوقًا بِهِ، وَأَنِّي سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا مَرْيَمَ ابْنَةَ عِمْرَانَ، فَضَحِكْتُ

I said to Fāṭimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "I saw you when you bent over the Prophet ﷺ during his illness and wept, then you bent over him a second time and laughed." She said: "I bent over him and he told me that he was going to die, so I wept. Then I bent over him a second time, and he told me that I would be the first of his family to join him, and that I am the leader of the women of the people of Paradise except Maryam daughter of ʿImrān, so I laughed."
