حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ:
قَالَتْ حِينَ قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ: تَرَكْتُمُوهُ كَالثَّوْبِ النَّقِيِّ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، ثُمَّ قَرَّبْتُمُوهُ فَذَبَحْتُمُوهُ كَمَا يُذْبَحُ الْكَبْشُ، هَلَّا [١]كَانَ هَذَا قَبْلَ هَذَا؛ قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهَا مَسْرُوقٌ: هَذَا عَمَلُكِ أَنْتِ كَتَبْتِ إِلَى أُنَاسٍ تَأْمُرِينَهُمْ بِالْخُرُوجِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: لَا وَالَّذِي آمَنَ بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَكَفَرَ بِهِ الْكَافِرُونَ، مَا كَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ سَوْدَاءَ فِي بَيْضَاءَ حَتَّى جَلَسْتُ مَجْلِسِي هَذَا. قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ: نص إضافيفَكَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ كُتِبَ عَلَى لِسَانِهَا
