حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ خَلَفِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ:
رُئِيَ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ بُرْدٌ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ لُبْسَهُ، قَالَ: فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّكَ لَتُكْثِرُ لُبْسَ هَذَا الْبُرْدِ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ كَسَانِيهِ خَلِيلِي وَصَفِيِّي وَصَدِيقِي وَخَاصَّتِي عُمَرُ، إِنَّ عُمَرَ نَاصَحَ اللهَ فَنَصَحَهُ اللهُ، ثُمَّ بَكَى
