حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْيَعْمَرِيِّ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
أَنَا عِنْدَ عُقْرِ حَوْضِي أَذُودُ عَنْهُ النَّاسَ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ، إِنِّي لَأَضْرِبُهُمْ بِعَصَايَ حَتَّى تَرْفَضَّ، قَالَ: فَسُئِلَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ سَعَةِ الْحَوْضِ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ مَا بَيْنَ مَقَامِي هَذَا إِلَى عَمَّانَ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا شَهْرٌ أَوْ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ، فَسُئِلَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ شَرَابِهِ فَقَالَ: أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، يَصُبُّ فِيهِ مِيزَابَانِ، مِدَادُهُ أَوْ مِدَادُهُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدُهُمَا وَرِقٌ وَالْآخَرُ ذَهَبٌ
