حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مِنْدَلٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ:
خَرَجْتُ فِي طَلَبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَجَدْتُهُ يُصَلِّي، فَانْتَظَرْتُهُ حَتَّى صَلَّى، فَقَالَ: أُوتِيتُ اللَّيْلَةَ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُؤْتَهُنَّ نَبِيٌّ قَبْلِي: نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ فَيُرْعَبُ الْعَدُوُّ مِنِّي مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ، وَأُرْسِلْتُ إِلَى الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ، وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ كَانَ قَبْلِي، وَقِيلَ: سَلْ تُعْطَهُ، فَاخْتَبَأْتُهَا فَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ لَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللهِ

I went out looking for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found him praying, so I waited for him until he finished praying. Then he said: "Tonight I was given five things that no prophet before me was given: I was aided with fear, so the enemy is struck with fear of me from a distance of a month's journey; I was sent to the red and the black; the earth was made for me a purifier and a place of prostration; the spoils of war were made lawful for me and were not lawful for anyone before me; and it was said: 'Ask, and you will be given.' But I reserved it, and it will reach those of you who do not associate anything with Allah."
