حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ:
بَعَثَنِي سَعْدٌ أَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَخَبَّابٍ أَرْضًا، فَتَرَامَيَا بِالْجَنْدَلِ، فَرَجَعْتُ فَأَخْبَرْتُ سَعْدًا ذَلِكَ، فَضَحِكَ حَتَّى ضَرَبَ بِرِجْلِهِ وَقَالَ: فِي الْأَرْضِ مِثْلُ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ قَلَّ مَا يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَهَلَّا رَدَدْتَهُمَا
