أَرْسَلَ الْحَجَّاجُ إِلَى سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، فَقَالَ: لَا تَؤُمَّ قَوْمَكَ، وَإِذَا رَجَعْتَ فَاسْبُبْ عَلِيًّا، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: سَمْعٌ وَطَاعَةٌ
