The Negus gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a piece of jewelry in which there was a gold ring with an Abyssinian stone. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took it with a stick, while turning away from it, or with one of his fingers, while turning away from it. Then he called his granddaughter [1] Umāmah bint Abī al-ʿĀṣ, and said: "Adorn yourself with this, little daughter."
